Eid Curled Star Gift Tag {Tutorial}

My daughters and I made these curled star gift tags from paper for our community Ramadan toy gift drive so people would be able to write on them.

We have started collecting the toys to wrap and I thought it might be nice to add a little extra touch with handmade curled star tags.

Supplies

Ruler
Scissors
5 ½ x 5 ½ square double sided cardstock
Star punch
Small piece of solid  blue color cardstock
Pencil
Pentagon template (we found one online and just traced it)
Glue

Cut out along the line around the pentagon and draw the top points together so you can make a tiny little fold.

Place a tiny bit of glue along the left side of the fold.

Curl the glued side over the unglued side until you met the two top points where your fold was created earlier. Do this for all five corners.

Here is a close up of what your star points will look like when you have folded over the points to each other.
