Felt Flower Pin {Tutorial}

I taught an art class on how to make these easy felt flower pins this weekend on Orcas Island, Washington at a Women’s Wellness Weekend.
I photographed the process of making the pins to share below.
The steps were so easy, and the supplies are only a few, that you can make these felt flower pins in little time.
Make them for girl scout swaps! Use them as a fundraiser! Hand them out at the next Eid party! So many options.
Supplies

Start by cutting out five felt circles. Mine were about the size of falafel.

Fold each circle in half and cut across to create half moons.

Thread your needle and sew across the bottom of one half moon. About the 2/3 point, add a second half moon and sew them together.

Finish off all 10 pieces.

Pull the thread to gather the felt.

Sew the middle together and add a vintage button as in the main photo. Sew a pinback to the back.
