Arabic Workshops and Storytelling

Koloud ‘Kay’ Tarapolsi teaches educational workshops and provides traditional storytelling to children and adults about the Arab art, culture and civilization.

Workshops

Children’s workshop have included Arab calligraphy, toy making and box production.  Adult workshops topics have included the history of Arab art, henna and traditional dancing.

Storytelling

Koloud ‘Kay’ Tarapolsi is currently an Arabic Storyteller for the King County Library System.  She has performed storytelling at Seattle Children’s Museum’s Cultural Sunday, Arab Festival, Redmond Regional Library and the World Language Sampler at both the Bellevue Regional Library and the Lake Hills Library.  Recently she was at four Seattle Libraries as part of the Seattle Reads program.
