Top Arab and/or Muslim Children Books for 2021 {Resource}

Welcome 2021 and the following beautiful children books by Arab and/or Muslim authors, or about Arab and/or Muslim kids, to enjoy!

With January upon us, it means that Multicultural Children’s Book Day is right around the corner.

I am so excited to be co-Hosting another year and will be sharing a review of a book on January 31st, 2021.

To recap, I was sent a Persian book in 2017, and a Sudanese book in 2018, both great additions to diverse kidlit book shelves around the world. I was fortune enough to receive three books for my 2019 Multicultural Children’s Book Day reviews, which can be found here, here and here. In 2020, I was blessed with a Palestinian American book.

As I await by my mailbox for this year’s special delivery, I thought I’d compile a list of 40+ upcoming PB (picture books), MG (middle grade) and YA (young adult) books coming out of the Arab & Muslim diaspora in 2021.

I will updated them with links to buy as they are available, so be sure to bookmark this page. Links will take you to Amazon, as I am affiliate member and use money made from any purchases to pay for the hosting of this website. Shukran (Arabic for thank you) for supporting my research. The biggest compliment you can give me would be if you could share this with a caregiver, teacher or parent who is interested in these books for their children.
